This is online journal of my regular interaction with HR regarding racism incidents and remained confidential. This has been made public after my termination. It stays unlisted. I have been adding other relevant posts in this blog too. Please go to the bottom of the page for Summary and archives.

Please support Yourself

Please support Yourself.

Now what does that mean? If you are an Indian-American and a Hindu then it's about helping protect your identity. Helping to protect your cultural, religious and social identity against racism and other prejudices through an organization that has done an excellent job in it's short tenure. This is where HAF comes in. Supporting HAF is supporting yourself, it's a great investment for the common good.   There are 2 million Hindu Americans and HAF has become a voice for all of us. HAF has been instrumental in getting Deepavali/Diwali recognised by US Congress, Senate invocation with Hindu prayer ( see video) , representing in 10 commandments case in US supreme court, producing the first ever Hindu Human Rights report etc.,  HAF is all about promoting Tolerance, Understanding and Pluralism in a world rife with religious hatred especially targeted against Hindus. Even if you are not a Hindu but would like to promote peace in the world you are welcome to contribute.

See the wonderful video from HAF about issues affecting Hindu Americans in USA.

From HAF web site:

The Hindu American Foundation (HAF) is an advocacy group providing a progressive voice for over two million Hindu Americans. The Foundation interacts with and educates leaders in public policy, academia, media and the public at large about Hinduism and global issues concerning Hindus, such as religious liberty, the portrayal of Hinduism, hate speech, hate crimes and human rights. By promoting the Hindu and American ideals of understanding, tolerance and pluralism, HAF stands firmly against hate, discrimination, defamation and terror. The Hindu American Foundation is not affiliated with any religious or political organizations or entities. HAF seeks to serve Hindu Americans across all sampradayas (Hindu religious traditions).
