Badge failed at JPMC office on Sunday 9-8-2008

After few days of recuperation I went by the office today, sunday, in the afternoon. I was planning to resend the emails that I had sent to senior management again from office network. I thought may be my Lotus Notes was failing from home and it might be fine at work. Also wanted to catchup with several work related emails since this ordeal was taking too much of my time. I know badge is a must on weekends to enter the building.

The badge failed to let me in. I tried from Lamar/Fannin side. Then tried at Dallas/Fannin side and again it failed. I just left. I figured the cooking has gone extreme. May be I had a sarcastic smile at the security camera there. The axe of adharma was falling. First it was email failure and then strange calls and now this. Could not believe lower management in collusion with HR was indulging in such cheap gimmicks. Or was it just that all things were malfunctioning at the same time?
